Nokia 3120, my phone!

I changed my mobile handset. Now my day begins with the alarm ring from Nokia 3120 instead of the good old 6610i. :-)
I was searching for a handset with basic features with a minimum of 2MP/2GB specs and found that 3120 comes with support for 3G too at a handy price with in my budget. Anyways for my BSNL sim BSNL is going to launch 3G services sooner in Bangalore and I will be a happy person to be one of the earliest 3G subscriber ;). Here goes my Nokia 3120 Classic (Graphite) one..

The Fuel Knob, The Legend...

The fuel knob of my Pulsar is finally going to retair from its job. This old fella has served for about 4 and half years and is still in healthy condition for more service. But the JP Nagar area, where I stay, is not letting me to use this any more. I had to replace this with one having key-lock. Heavy threats of Petrol thefts in our area made me to take this decision. And I paid a good 100 bucks for a new one with additional servicing charges to the service man to do the fittings.
Sorry and Thanks to my colleagues here for bearing with the smell of Petrol when taking this photograph in my cubicle.

Hitting 1000 Kms !

Saturday evening I was on ride to Puttur through Perla accompanied with my brother and was looking in to the odo meter on my XCD. It hit 1000Kms since I bought it in Sep-28-2008. A nice bike giving me a healthy mileage of about 70Km/Ltr. Tried releasing the throttle for a max of 95Kms so far and then I felt that I shoud not try for any more ;). Bcoz unlike my other Pulsar controlling becomes difficult since there is no disc break in XCD. But for the curved ghat roads there in Perla XCD is serving far good for me.
